International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners® (IBLCE®) Bylaws Revision Public Comment
Pursuant to best practices, certification bodies periodically review and update key documents. The IBLCE Board of Directors recently reviewed and revised the IBLCE Bylaws.
The primary revisions involve a greater emphasis on leadership representation by the program’s diverse international stakeholders, updating to reflect best practices and streamlining the bylaws. The revised bylaws continue to emphasize the importance of majority Board representation of those having breastfeeding mother-to-mother support leadership experience.
Thank you to all who submitted comment on the recently revised IBLCE Bylaws. The comment period is now closed as of June 7, 2012. Please note that while some comments may be incorporated, providing commentary does not guarantee changes.
