Wouldn’t you like to double your donation to a worthy cause? Make your donation go farther? You can do just that starting in November! MILCC announces its first Pin & Necklace “Matching Donation” Campaign. The Hazelbaker Foundation has committed to matching 100% of donations made for pins and necklace sales during the month of November, 2010, up to $5,000. The Matching Donation Campaign will fund certification scholarships for aspiring IBCLC candidates and recertifying IBCLCs from around the world.
Seventy-four qualified individuals were awarded scholarships in 2010 that enabled them to sit the IBCLC exam or recertify. MILCC’s goal for 2011 is to substantially increase the number of scholarships awarded to deserving candidates. $10,000 raised by the Pin & Necklace “Matching Donation” Campaign will play a significant role in meeting this goal!
Donors may choose any pin(s) at a donation fee of $12 per pin or a necklace for $50. The Hazelbaker Foundation will match that donation! This is a great time to get the IBCLC jewelry you want and support the IBCLC profession worldwide.
All pins and jewelry are available on the MILCC website using PayPal! The IBCLC Logo and Years of Service Bar pins attractively and powerfully communicate certification status to clients and colleagues. IBCLCs may wear these pins on their lapel or institutional employment badge. The 25th Anniversary necklace is a lovely piece of jewelry, and a conversation starter. It can be worn by anyone! with almost any outfit (scrubs or suit!) Your donation will make you stand out!
