CPC Webinar Recording Available
On November 1, 2011 the Board of Directors of IBLCE revised the Code of Ethics, now the Code of Professional Conduct for IBCLCs (CPC). IBLCE Board Chair, Elizabeth “Kaili” Stehel, MD, IBCLC, gave a live webinar presentation on April 24, 2012 to IBCLCs worldwide. This webinar was given to provide background information and insight regarding the revised CPC.
IBLCE is making the presentation slides and live audio recording available for viewing for a period of thirty (30) days, until Friday, June 8. Open both links below to listen to the recording and scroll through the PDF slides.
IBLCE depends on employers, clients, IBCLCs and the public to report incidents which may require action by the IBLCE Ethics and Discipline Committee. Complaints must be signed and submitted to the Executive Offices of IBLCE International. Inquiries or submissions other than complaints may be reviewed and handled by IBLCE at its discretion.
IBCLCs agree to be governed by the Code of Professional Conduct and are also governed by the IBLCE Disciplinary Procedures for any violations of the Code of Professional Conduct.
The IBLCE Disciplinary Procedures require that the public is notified of permanent revocations of IBCLC certification and public reprimands of IBCLCs.
